Zinc is involved in key processes of the immune system. There must be sufficient cells in the blood to capture and destroy bacteria.

Zinc activates thymulin, a hormone produced by the thymus gland, responsible for maturation of immune system cells.

The importance of this property of zinc increases the older a person gets, as there is a natural decline in thymus function with age.

The «intelligent» immune cells with the strictest selection undergo a whole «course» in the thymus «academy» for before entering the fray with the infection^1,2.

1. First, the immune cells are «equipped» with receptors to recognize «outsiders». Among the prepared cells, only those are selected that clearly work according to the “friend-or-foe» system. This gives them the right to «check» any cell in the body in future.

2. Only the cells that have successfully passed the first stage are allowed to the next stage of «perfection». Moving along the thymus, they acquaint themselves with the huge variety of protein composition of our bodies. A successful «candidate» must not have a reaction to any human protein.

Suggested Usage

RECOMMENDED USE
